Get Involved

We believe everyone has a “Next Step” in their faith journey. We’re here to support and resource you along the way. Here are some common Next Steps at New Hope.

Serving

Serving is one of the best ways to get connected and stay connected! Use your God-given gifts and abilities to serve the church and help make New Hope a warm, welcoming place to worship! There are a variety of teams and we would love to see you on one of them. Simply take the next step by filling out the Volunteer Interest Form.

Baptism

Baptism is an important step as you follow Jesus. It’s an outward symbol of the work that God has done in your life. Water baptism is not a means of salvation nor is it a necessity for salvation. It is a testimony of salvation!

We view baptism in two important ways.
First, it is a “Pledge of Allegiance” to God. It is going public with your faith in Jesus Christ and committing to live your life for Him.

Secondly, It is a picture or symbol of what happens at salvation. Baptism is the way that we identify with what Jesus did on the cross. Many have said that it is an outward picture of an inward reality.

Our Connection Groups are categorized as Discipleship, Marriage & Family or Topical studies. Each group has specific meeting dates and times. Groups begin three times a year in February (8-12 weeks), June (6 weeks), and October (10-12 weeks).
